03 Thermal Treatment

Thermal treatment includes debinding and sintering.

Debinding

Debinding: Green bodies formed by hot pressing and injection use high polymer compounds as adhesive materials. These organic adhesives will melt during high-temperature firing and are finally eliminated from the green body through physical and chemical changes such as decomposition and volatilization .

If the product is directly sintered at high temperature without debinding, the adhesive will be quickly discharged from the green body in liquid and gases, which will lead to deformation and cracking of the green body. Therefore, the adhesive in the green body must be removed by high temperature before firing.

Sintering

Sintering: Also called sintering into ceramics, it is a process where green body undergoes the expected chemical reaction and full densification at high temperature. Therefore, the Ceramics with specific requirements of physical and chemical properties can be made.

We have tunnel pusher electric kilns and gas kilns to meet the above operational needs.
